Our Stay at Dream Inn – Santa Cruz

Have you ever dreamed of waking up and finding a beautiful Ocean View Infront of you? If yes, then Dream Inn in Santa Cruz is your spot. In this blog I will be sharing all about our stay at Dream Inn.

Before I continue, A Big Thanks to Dream Inn for hosting us.

Rooms :

The best feeling is to wake up to an ocean view and at Dream Inn, all the rooms have panoramic views of Ocean which means we knew that we were given a Ocean View Room even before we reached the hotel so my expectations were piled up. The check- In at the Hotel’s lobby was super easy and quick, As soon as we entered our room, we headed straight to the Balcony which had the beautiful view of the ocean and beach. Trust me, my son was jumping with the joy knowing that he has his own beach which looked almost empty.

The room has two Queen beds and laid out perfectly so that guests can enjoy the Ocean view while staying in the bed. I was stunned to see how huge the room was with the most incredible view of beach, ocean and the Pier.

Covid Precautions :

• Its mandatory for the guests & staff to wear masks all the time through out the hotel except for the pool and dinning area.
• Sanitizing machines are placed throughout the hotel for the guests
• Common areas like lobby, pool, outdoor seating are sanitized frequently as soon as the guests leave the place.

Pool & Beach :

Here comes the best part, where you get both pool and the beach to play with. They have a  heated outdoor pool & hot tub with lots of lounging chairs which has beautiful ocean view. There’s also a outdoor bar at the pool for the quick snacks and drinks which I believe is a great addition.

There’s a stairway from the pool area which leads to the beach and what’s better than a beach to maintain a perfect social distancing ? As soon as we get a break from our work, we use to head to the beach and have a small picnic with kids.

Food :

On first floor there’s a cute little coffee shop and also a restaurant which has outdoor dining venue in open air that you can enjoy breakfast/lunch/dinner with live music in the evenings or simply order breakfast in bed and enjoy the food with ocean views in your pajamas.

Remote Working & Schooling :

Why work from Home when you can work from anywhere? and what’s better than a place where you can work with the beautiful ocean views from your balcony, at the pool or on the beach?

There are two tables located in the room, one inside the room and one in the balcony. Hubsy attended all his zoom meetings from the balcony while Aareeb attended his school from the room which worked perfect for us.

Activities :

Visiting on a weekend? Great !! Apart from Beach and the Pier, there’s a lot more you can do around the hotel, and you can find the list of things  to do here

We totally loved our stay at Dream Inn, known as the ONLY Beach Front Hotel in Santa Cruz, It is your perfect place to ‘Work/School from Anywhere’
