Spring activities in South Lake Tahoe with kids
If you guys have been following us on Instagram, you should be knowing that we were in Lake Tahoe during Spring , While Lake Tahoe is known for its Summer fun and water activities , do you know there is so much to do during the spring there ?
In this blog I will be sharing a list of activities to do in South Lake Tahoe together as a family :
MS Dixie II :
The MS Dixie II on Lake Tahoe is not only a beautiful and scenic experience but also a fun and kid-friendly adventure. Activities at Heavenly Village :
Though the famous Gondola ride is closed during most of the Spring period, there’s so much to do here during spring. During the spring months, Heavenly Village transforms into a hub of excitement with a wide range of activities. Families will find a vibrant atmosphere with numerous shops, boutiques, and restaurants to explore. From souvenir stores to fashion boutiques and specialty shops, there is something for everyone. Parents can indulge in retail therapy, while children can enjoy Outdoor Mini Golf, Bungee Trampoline , Magic Show and a visit the Heavenly Village Cinema for a fun-filled movie experience.

Lake with a play area :
You can not miss the lake when in Lake Tahoe, and a play area for kids on lake is definitely every parent’s comfort. Pack a picnic relax and bask in the beauty of the surrounding scenery while the kids play at the play area. This beach is Free during winter and spring but if you are going in summer, its $25 for adults and $17 for kids .
Station House Inn Hotel located close to this beach provides FREE Beach Pass for its guests.

Family Friendly hotels are something which are our Top priority during our travels. During our visit to Lake Tahoe we stayed at Station House Inn and totally loved our experience. So here’s the list of things we liked about Station Inn.

-Access to beach which is 0.2 miles from hotel and the biggest advantage is the beach has a play area for your kids. It also has jet ski, kayaking and other water activities too . The beach is also pet friendly.
-0.4 Miles to Heavenly Village where you get to do so many activities including the Gondola
-The entire hotel is pet friendly
-Free parking onsite

Lake Tahoe is beautiful in every season and is so fun equally for the families. If you want to experience this place with Less Crowd, Pocket Friendly Hotels and beauty of snow capped mountains and freshness in air, then I would highly suggest visiting South lake Tahoe in Spring.
