Big Al’s Pizzeria – Halal Food in Los Angeles
A good Halal food is impossible to find in a city like Los Angeles and when we do,we don’t want to stop our self in sharing it with you . So today,I ‘ll be sharing about a food spot in Los Angeles which we visited numerous number of times from last 2 years.
Wings :
Big Al’s Wings have been voted as the Best Wings in California and after tasting them, we got to know why. They serve 8 different types of wings dipped in their home made sauces and in the Last 3 years we have tried all the 8 flavors and you won’t believe how hard it is to pick our favorites.
Me being a spicy food lover, have always ordered the Jamaican Wings and My 2 year old son loves Sweet and Sour Wings as they are perfect for his taste buds.
Pizzas :
Their pizzas are as good as their wings .They have a variety of 10 different types of pizzas. Me and My husband have a complete different taste when it comes to food , so we always order a half and half pizza of our own choice of flavors. The best part is you can alsoย order up to 4 different types of flavors in one pizza.
One of my favorites is the Carne Asada Pizza ,which is an Italian pizza in a Mexican Taco style.
Smoked Beef Brisket :
Though there are variety of pizzas and wings to get distracted from , but i believe you cannot leave this place without trying their Beef Brisket. You know, their brisket is smoked for 16 hours , so just imagine how tender and juicy the beef would be??ย It has right amount of sweet and spicy taste with a hint of coleslaw which truly makes you fall in love with every bite you take.
Service :ย
The people who work here are really nice, quick and helpful and they know exactly how to make there customers feel home and happy.
Location :
6044 Atlantic Blvd, Maywood, CA 90270
Parking :
They do have Parking available for free, right in front of the Restaurant

Final Thoughts:
We’ve been to this place so many times that we’ve tried almost all pizzas and wings on their menu and trust me it is really hard to choose our favorites.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and just imagine, we live almost 20 miles away from where this place is and still make sure we go here at least once a month to try their finger licking food.

Now I really want some pizza. I have a favourite pizza place here so I think thatโs where Iโll go for dinner tonight!

I love Big Al’s. The food is great and the servings are really generous. It is certainly a must-visit in LA. I am also glad they serve Halal food — which I only knew just now.

Looks good at least. Though something that peeks my interest, people always speak of halal meat, but I don’t quite understand why people want it so badly. Being from Sweden all I can really think of is because of religious reasons. Otherwise there are no difference here, but perhaps there are differences in the US?

I donโt think so , not in Los Angeles at least ๐

I have never been able to divide a pizza into four flavor zones. That sounds so awesome! I am huge fan of wings. I want them extra crispy with garlic hot sauce. Mmm…

The wings and the pizza look tasty. Is that jalapeno wing, the one with the green top? And I think they are clever that they allowed the customers to order 4 different types of flavor in 1 pizza. A good way to try the pizza for new customers.
eazynazy
You are absolutely correct , those green ones are the jalapeรฑo wings (my fav)

Big Al’s Pizzeria offering mouthwatering food for sure. I love how beautiful the wings are being served with 8 different flavour. I am a wings lover and would hope they have a chain here.

It is good that at Als Pizzeria you found Halal food in Los Angeles. Pizza looks tempting as they have very colorful and toppings. Hopefully within 10 varieties of pizzas, I may also get my vegetarian pizza here. Thanks for sharing it!

Goodness gracious! This is so inviting! And since i’m in for all things spicy and saucy, the Jamaican wings would be perfect for me! Looks so scrumptious!

OMG the brisket looks sooo good! Finding decent BBQ in Australia can be a bit of a struggle but there are a few good ones out there. The pizza looks incredible as well! Happy to hear there are some halal restaurants in LA!

Itโs great finding a good food place that has a variety. Als Pizzeria must be consistently good if you keep driving 20 miles every month! I love wings but the Carne Asada pizza sounds amazing!

I’ve been to LA twice, and don’t think I’ve ever been to this restaurant. If I’m ever in LA again, I definitely will be going here. The food looks delicious and my mouth was watering the whole time while reading about the food.

The thin crust pizza looks yummy! I agree, it can be difficult to find Halal restaurant in some places. Glad you find one in L.A!
